General objectives In 2005 the Labour Inspectorate carry out the Year programme of its activities. During the 2005 the following tasks are to be acomplished: 1. regulary inspection-supervision Inspections will be carried out in relation with: execution of individual tasks determined by inspectors themselves, examination of employyees- complains and accomplishment of other inspection tasks resulting from the statutory provisions including , for example, examining the causes of work accidents etc. 2. Campaign in construction industry, chemical industry, health care area, enterprises manufacturing metal and non metal goods, food companies, furniture-manufacturing companies, power equipment and tools, metal-working machines, personal protective equipment protecting from fall from height, railway transport etc. 3. Highteened supervision in enterprises with higher intensity of hazards due to negative health indicators (work injuries, high absentism) 4. Inspections for monitoring the selected issues (noise, vibration, manual handling of loads, etc.) 5. During the 2005 Labour Inspectorate shall emphasises the monitoring of some selected issues of labour protection to gain and to obtain relevant statistical data enabling proper targeting of inspection and preventive actions and activities. Other tasks will be carried out within routine supervision: - protection of young workers - work accidents report system - work of safety and health experts - legal advices Existing since 2004 the Labour inspectorate website will be regularly updated and developed. Cooperation with other authorities and institutions dealing with labour inspection issues Labour inspectorate cooperates with social partners, trade, employer's organisations, safety at work Chamber, medical faculty and other institutions. |
